R Styling: Blue brake callipers

The high-performance brake system with blue brake callipers and the R-logo as well as the individual front air intakes do not just look good, they also increase performance.

IQ Light HD matrix headlights

The updated front of the Touareg R plug-in hybrid gets its iconic look from the new HD matrix LED headlights with six lenses each and new signature light. A new front grille with horizontal light strip rounds off the look from the front.

The rear end impresses with a 100% electric boot lid and an electric luggage compartment cover. It also radiates thanks to a new horizontal light strip and an illuminated logo. The side mirrors of the Touareg R project the new R-logo onto the ground.

Stunning Puglia leather upholstery

Sustainably tanned with olive leaf extract, the Puglia leather package conveys an exceptionally elegant look and feel in the interior. Piping in ceramique and quilted contrast stitching in the shoulder area and on the insides of the doors lend the seats a special charm.

DYNAUDIO Sound system

The new Touareg is transformed into a mobile concert hall with the optionally available DYNAUDIO Consequence sound system:

• 7.1 Dolby Surround Sound from 14 loudspeakers installed in the interior
• Four treble loudspeakers, two mid-range loudspeakers, four bass loudspeakers and two effect loudspeakers in the rear
• One centre loudspeaker in the front and a subwoofer in the luggage compartment
• 730-watt power amplifier

Panaramic sunroof

Huge dimensions for big impressions. The optional tilting and sliding panoramic sunroof covers almost the entire roof and also offers passengers in the rear a virtually unrestricted view of the sky. A little extra fresh air? The front half of the roof opens at the press of a button or extends fully over the rear part.

Power Adjustable Steering Column

The Touareg R PHEV is equipped with a Power Adjustable Steering Column, which allows you to easily adjust the position of the steering wheel and find the most comfortable driving position for yourself. The memory function allows you to save your preferred steering wheel position to your separate driving profiles, so you can always have it set up perfectly for you and any other drivers.

Innovision Cockpit

The digital instrument cluster and the 15" (38.1cm) screen of the infotainment system form one curved glass surface: the Innovision Cockpit.

Ambient lighting - to match the mood

The new Touareg V6S R-Line has 30-colour ambient lighting as standard. The lower and upper area of the interior can thus be illuminated in different colours independently of each other. If two different colours are selected, the main colour is adopted additionally for the displays. You can therefore create completely different lighting scenarios depending on your mood.

Sticks to speed limits. & keeps its distance

Adaptive Cruise Control ACC helps you to maintain a previously set maximum speed and preset distance to the vehicle in front. ACC also supports you with predictive cruise control and cornering assistance.

With Traffic sign recognition, the Adaptive Cruise Control can read road signs and adapt the vehicles speed to the relevant speed limits.
