Performance
E mode” and ”Hybrid”
Using the 4MOTION Active Control menu in the updated Innovision Cockpit the driver has direct access to the hybrid functions “E mode” and “Hybrid”. By touching “E mode”, the Touareg R plug-in hybrid switches to all-electric drive, and by selecting “Hybrid” mode, the driver unlocks the power of the V6 engine and Boost.
With a sufficiently charged battery the Touareg R always starts in the all-electric “E mode”. It works the other way round in “Hybrid” mode: If required, the driver uses the kick-down function to additionally demand the all-electric power as a “boost”.
Maximum dynamics - R-style
The V6 turbo engine always works per kick-down and with sufficiently charged battery is also supported by the all-electric power as a “boost”. Maximum system power of 340kW plus maximum system torque of 700Nm - equals maximum dynamics.

Service plan offer covers your first three scheduled services. Services are due every 12 months or at 15,000km, whichever comes first as stipulated in your Maintenance and Warranty. Intervals may vary for certain commercial vehicles. Offer is transferable to subsequent owners within the terms. Free Fuel Offer: The “Free Fuel for a Year” offer is available on new Volkswagen passenger vehicles purchased at the recommended retail price (RRP) from participating Gazley dealerships during the advertised promotional period and applies to retail customers only, excluding fleet, business, rental, and government sales unless otherwise approved.
